A great novel dealing with the underlying sibling rivalry between two sisters that in the end doesn't hold up to the real issues that matter the most in the life.

I did not care for this book. It was very boring. I can't believe I read the whole thing :) However, I loved "Emma & Me" by the same author which is what made me decide to read this novel. You might like it...I did not!.

This book would make a cute Christmas Hallmark/LMN movie.

Fast read...good book for a long, cold blustery Michigan Winter!!

I love Kristin Hannah's books but this wasn't my favorite. It was kind of slow and predictable. I enjoyed the story line but I could easily read a chapter and put the book down to do something else. I did, however, envy the main characters life ~~ has a husband who loves her and is faithful, lives in a beautiful home, no need to work outside the home due to no monetary worries! I had a hard time feeling her "pain".

Unfortunately, this book was not a winner for me. I tried to read the entire book but just could not continue half way through. The author seemed to jump around erratically and I guess I just didn't "get" some of her humor.

a dog, the holidays, a boy, a forever home = warm fuzzy feelings!

I loved this book. It shows how strong a woman can be but still remain open to new love. It demonstrates the powerful connection that human beings have with their dogs.

Another great holiday story. Fast read with a touching message. Makes me miss the relationship I could have with a sister I already do have.

Typical Albom story. It was cool because it was "local"

A little slow to start but once into it I couldn't wait to get to the ending. Provocative real-life struggles for those families with Aspie Kids.

Love Jodi Piccoult novels - this one was good but not great! A little slow moving than most of her drama/suspense stories.

This book had me fooled all the way to the end. It's a shame that this topic is even a part of our lives. Good story...sad subject!

Loved this story line. I couldn't put it down. I made me want to read other novels written in this era. Kristin Hannah is one of my most favorite authors.

The shear mass of this book scared me at first but once I started it I had a hard time putting it down so I could go to work or go to sleep. It makes me want to go back and be
