Second: The Four-leaf Clover, by Cheryl Bolen. A four-leaf clover found by the Fourth of July picnic blanket is taken as a sign of love meant to be. Third: The Magical Elixir, by Tracy Cozzens. Patent-medicine salesman at the Independence Day picnic falls for a pretty woman and hopes there is no cure for love at first sight.

Martha Kirkland is one of my favorite Regency authors. Always has a wonderful story and fun characters.
