This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. It's kinetic twisty store line is entertaing and thought provoking with being preachy.

I loved this book. A bunch of small stories and intriguing characters that are full of full of hope, love, philosophy, greed, and pettiness. It ties up in a beautiful way.
It's witty and engaging.

I finished up Bone Key last. Not bad. Keith R.A. DeCandido kept the voices of Sam, Dean and Bobby pretty true to life. It read like a good extended episode.
If your fiending for a Winchester fix before the new season, this will help.

I didn't know what to expect from Breathers. It was touted as a zombie romance. I'm not much into romance but a zombie romance, why the hell not, I'll give it a try.
If you want to get all literary and boorish you can say it's an affecting look at what society finds acceptable and blah, blah, blah.
Nope, it was a really fun read with cannibalism (can you be a cannibal if your undead?), hot zombie on zombie sex and make up tips for the recently undead and some really nice recipes.
Most of it takes place during the holidays so it's a great holiday book as well.

Angel Dare's witness protection doesn't go so well for her and she's got an ex-lover's son and a busted up fighter along for the ride. Another quick and gritty Angel Dare book. Loved it.

I loved this book. Quick, easy to read and hit all the right notes. The diary style writing keeps in the bad spelling and grammar so it gives you a sense of being there with the undead moaning outside your door.
The author is an active duty U.S naval officer which tends to add a bit of authenticity to the writing and sometimes even a touch of a warriors despair.
If you like the zombie genre this is a must read up there with World War Z and The Walking Dead.
So far this is one of three.

I love Douglas Adams and Doctor Who so I was very excited when I got this. I was not disappointed. Gareth Roberts does a great job of keeping Adams' quirky writing and Tom Baker's Doctor into a story that will keep you riveted till the end. This would have made a great episode.

Not a bad ending to the Bill Hodges Trilogy. Good closure.

Exploding people, minions, a demon with a bad back and plenty of laughs.

This book is great if you want to find out why Faith turned into the Anti-Buffy. It goes further than the Watcher incident and shows how environment can shape a woman's future.

If you like the show you will love this tie-in. It's grittier and sexier than an actual episode of Castle. It's a fun and a quick read.

I was expecting such great things from this book. There were so many raving reviews about the author being a new feminist voice but it ended up being one of the most torturous books I have had to slog through. Why, pray tell, did I put myself through this misery? I was waiting, up to the last hopeful moment, that it would all come to a shuddering, poignant conclusion. There was only one story that I thought was any good and the rest were blotchy stories that made me not care anything about the characters.

Some of my favorite TV episodes are when they go meta and give the fans a wink and a nod. This book was exactly like that. Even though the show is fictitious it still gives that feedback devout fans like.

I love this series. Traviss has made an art of writing the stink, frustration and joy of war into a compelling set of stories that just happen to take place in the Star Wars universe. This one delves more into the lives of this elite warrior clone group that have been given no proper exit plan or future except at the end of a blaster bolt.

Loved it and couldn't put it down. The narrative was brilliant and read like a good horror-action movie script. I could actually picture the scenes taking place with Del Toro as the director.
If your looking for truly frightening vampires that don't want to cuddle, then you've come to the right book.

The book was all over the place and not very well written. I was hoping for something a bit more revelatory, but it was mostly Ms. Munn being upset because she didn't have any friends growing up. I loved her on Attack of the Show and was hoping for a bit more.
