Scars aren't only on the inside is the basis of this book. But then again losing your dreams could also be it. This couple have so much to deal with themselves that you wouldn't think they could take on romance. But they do and do it well.

I usually enjoy Ms. Scott's books, but I do not feel like anyone read this prior to publication. Objects and dogs appear and disappear from page to page. Also, the dogs in this book are trained K-9's but they are forgotten, ignored and shown in a very unflattering way. I will read the rest of the series, and hope the dogs win out in the end.

This is not a hardcover book, but a set of 9 books: favorite, rummy, pinochle, card games for 1 or 2, family, poker, casino, bridge, and solitaire. If you have a deck of cards, you have endless hours of play.

A nice read. This book is full of family dynamics - siblings, parents, teens, even twins. It also has two people who have all that money can buy, but lack what it can't buy = love, self-confidence and happiness.

First book in Dana Mentink's Treasure Seekers Series. Was a very fast read and great introduction to the series. Explored grief and betrayal in many different forms.

The author really needs to apologize to the police, FBI and Marshal Service. She portrays them as inept, bumbling fools. This destroyed the story line for me which hurts since this is the last book in the series.

Such a nice ending to the series, but I will miss not visiting Valley Ridge. Maeve and Aaron are so solitary but everyone's go to person. It was great to see them help each other enter the present and look toward the future instead of living in the past.

I cried through the whole book. This was so not what I was expecting, but felt very real and raw which I did not see coming after reading the first two books in the series. The love story was so built up that when it failed, you felt like you wanted to fix it.

Good stories but author's should have worked together better. The continuity just isn't there. Characters appear and disappear from the first to the last story. But otherwise a nice, fast reads.

It took me a while to get into this story. I really did not like the Doctor. But as the story grew, so did he. Mattie was so identifiable and her decision at the end totally through me. They just fit.
