This was my first Mechwarrir book. I was impressed. The story line wasn't slow. It seemed pretty good.

Good story line. A mixture of SCIFI and Military. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I would recommend reading the first 5 or 6 X-wing books first. They give you a good background on the main character.
