The jury is certain and so is the DA's office. They have the murderer and he is safely incarcerated. But then another murder occurs - and they begin to doubt the verdict. Assistant DA Marty Nickerson is an interesting character with moral courage and grit.

A landmark Seattle clinic is bombed, a naval officer is arrested, and attorney Dana McAuliffe is charged with defending him. Great characterization and lots of twists in plot.

Crime on campus - this time the faculty is into more mischief than the students. Peggy O'Neill "helps" the local cops with their investigation and the complications are both humorous and dangerous.

A real psychological thriller - and a down-home style of writing that takes you into the southern atmosphere and pulls you into the mystery. Very enjoyable read.

Some mysteries revealed about life "behind closed doors" of the Mormon community and church, as well as a real-life mystery to solve. Much anti-mormonism here. Actual author Natalie R. Collins.

Entertaining story of life in Berkeley among the legal and education communities. Concerns specifically the "Insanity" plea and folks who plan to use it even as they commit murder.

Slider is middle-class, middle-aged and passed over for promotion. What a hard life! And how difficult it becomes when he finds a naked female corpse, a priceless violin and some tins of olive oil - and that's just the first mystery in this volume of three.

An interesting family mix, an unlovely "heroine" who changes hair color and lovers frequently, and a puzzle involving these folks plux CI Quantrill. Excellent writing and interesting plot.

Page is always a winner! This take-off of college reunion members isolated on desert island with murderer among them continues to puzzle and entertain as more and more layers of the puzzle are revealed. Faith Fairchild is caterer at the event and it's up to her to find the killer before her name comes up on the list.
