It's kind of romance novelly. Contains some sex (not a whole lot; I just want to give fair warning.

It's a bit long winded & lacking in action.

Not too bad for a spin off. Amusing, but not hysterically funny.

Hey, it's Shakespeare and it's a comedy. How can you go wrong? It's excellant.

This a Tolkien-wannabe, and not a very good one. I found it boring.

Excellent. Astounding. Super-duper (Are you catching my drift?) But please, read the 1st 3 books in the series beforehand

Personally, I did not much care for it. I expected the wit and allusions of Lemony Snicket (which it has, after a fashion,) but I did not bargain for the lack of a cohesive plot. Also, I'm not prudish . . . but the book contains a helluva lot of sex which really doesn't further the plot much.
