Very thorough -- the most complete guide book I've found on Australia. I used much of the info for a trip I took in 2013. I did not use the hotel listings, but instead did Internet research. Inside info re things worth skipping and things not to miss were helpful.

Really great book with easy hairstyles. Almost all of them are for long hair. I didn't give it five stars because it is a bit dated, but otherwise a really great resource with good ideas that are still stylish today.

Amazing story about an amazing woman. Well-written and researched. Read by the author, which made it a bit less dramatic than if an actress read it, but her slight accent added a nice touch.

As expected from Bill Bryson, this is an outstanding read. Funny and very well researched. A must-read for anyone traveling to Australia. Not your typical guide book, but essential reading.

Good story and the CD had great narration. I didn't really "buy" the relationships between the characters. Pretty depressing, also.
