Once again Wendy Corsi Staub has left jaw dropped at the twisting plot of her books. Every time I think I have the answer something happens and I think its something else only to find out in the very end that I was soo far off that It leaves me utterly impressed that you can put so many clues there without the reader seeing them .

Once again Wendy Corsi Staub has written a book that left me turning in circles til the end. Just when you think you have figured it out you realize you where only part of the way there and the storie is sooo much more involved. She is great at hiding the story in a story. You are following along and never realizing just how wound into the next story the characters all are until the end when you realize you never saw it coming. Its great!

This is one of my favorite books and I wouldnt be listing it on here If i didnt already have a copy saved for myself. Linda Lael Miller is an awesome story teller who pulls you right into the worlds she creates.
One Wish
She was the only child of a rich and powerful ranchr. He was the son of a drunker N'er do well. But when 11 year old Luke Shardlow Rescued 8 year old Charity Barnham from drowning. She promised him One Wish. Any wish his heart May desire. This story takes place 15 years after that meeting and is a wonderful read.

I love the way the author shows that she understands the societies that she is representing in this book. One of the main characters is an no longer active Marine Sniper and the whitty comments about the Marine Corp mottos and standards made me smile. Either she is personally involved in the USMC or she did some wonderful research. These kind of details are the things that make this book wonderful.
