Please note that this is a Chick publication---which means it is probably very anti-Catholic. Jack Chick has been publishing anti-Catholic books, magazines and comics for years.

Gourmet Cook meets Rachel Ray.
Or how to make Gourmet quick meals with canned foods. Laura Karr won my respect when she admitted that while she used to like to cook, being the only cook in a household gets to be a drag. When I get home from work, I'd prefer to have some unwind time and read a book---but I can't. There's kids and homework and "MOM, what's for dinner?" or "I'm hungry! Feed me!!" Usually I don't have a clue when I am going to fix. And I'm sick of thinking about it! These recipes look great and quick and I have most of the items!!! I can't wait to start trying these.

I used this in the Catechumenate program when I came into the Church in 1978. It was not very readable then. I understand that the Imprimatur has been removed due to errors.

I started to get this until I read the reviews on Amazon stating that this is probably written by someone very anti-Catholic. Go read them yourself.

Unlike the author, I am a convert. The humor is that I married a guy who ended up in the Diaconate and I'm teaching RCIA now! God does have a sense of humour! I well remember my concern with the teachings on Mary. I think this is book would be great for anyone experiencing those doubts. Mary is MOM to me now. The search by the author was what I also went through. THe book is not going to ever have an Imprimator, because there are something that the author expresses that are her own viewpoints and not of the Church. But it's a SEARCH and the miracle is that her prayers are answered and she too ends up with another Mom.

This book was given to my husband when he was going through cancer treatment. It's really a diary or journal with reflections written throughout. My husband is not much of a writer, so it's pristine. I thought someone else might be able to use this.

There are only two of us that rated this book and the other person did not rate it highly. I bought this for the RCIA library---we talk about Fatima every year. Plus I had just seen The 13th Day (Movie-excellent btw). I read this with great interest. There quite a lof of detail about the children than other books about Fatima that I have read. I really enjoyed this book!

I met Rita Klaus after I read this book. This is a great story about a woman who was absolutely strapped to a wheel chair for life. Her healing was a miracle and is documented by pre and post x-rays. This is a Medjugorje story that took place in this country.

I really enjoyed this book. It flies fast. It does remind me of books I have read before. Those where the hero/heroine doesn't realize who they really are--- but it's well done.

I picked up this book on the sale table at Books a Million. Looked interesting, but it's not the sort of book I usually read. Well I went through this one in a day. What a cute story! I suspect this was some of this past summer's beach books--it's light hearted despite the subject matter---and an easy read. A little like "Heaven can Wait" with it's own twists. I enjoyed reading this one.
