Great motivation. Good work out for beginners/low intermediate. Not challenging enough for those that work out regularly, but it got me moving again.
Excellent advice to do excercises slowly to engage the muscles and not speed through them using momentum.

This book won rave reviews for its literary style. The story takes place in Three sections with an Epilogue. It is slow moving in some places, but looking back it is fascinating to put all the pieces together from the author's viewpoint once it is complete.
The historical slant is also interesting as we see the war in Europe from differing perspectives. I believe the author has achieved something unusual in putting himself in the place of a 13 year old girl and moving us forward with the story.
I found it hard to get into and slow in some places, but very fast moving in others. I can see why it was made into a movie (which I understand is pretty faithful to the book) and also why Mr. Mcewan was acclaimed.

A "neo-gothic" type mystery with an edge of romance. This is a story of a weary traveller who lost his wife, returning to her inherited home to find a mystery awaiting. Quick and entertaininge read.

This is one of the better sequels that I've read. Very light and easy to read. Not too farfetched or troubling. The author remains fairly true to the characters and dialog of the original. Some situations have a bit of modern feel, but not unacceptable.

If you are a true Austin addict, you will enjoy this book. Brinton brings many of the Austin characters to one location where they all interact in society.
For me, not having read many for quite a while, I had to think hard to remember who they were, which storyline they represented, and it got complicated.
A true old style book with typical social gatherings, couplings and dialogues.
Fans will enjoy.

A wonderful glimpse of how the author got through some personal crisis and her struggle to stay close to God. Her stories take you from tears to joy.
