I'm a big fan of Bradt Travel Guides. Their Belize guidebook is excellent, packed with information, maps, a color photo section and lots of quirky sidebars. It was all I needed to plan my trip to Belize. I particularly enjoyed the General Information "People and Culture" and "Natural History" sections.

As a travel writer myself, I enjoy reading this series. The stories are intriguing and always very well written.

This was the first book by Susan Squires that I have read, and I really enjoyed it. The story was unique and kept me entertained.
I think it's a shame some of the reviewers didn't read the whole book... many of their questions about the story would have been answered.
I've already ordered another book by Susan Squires and am looking forward to reading it.
