I loved this book for the story. The characters were believable and the twist and turns were well planned. I didn't know who did it until it was just about revealed which is always a plus. The parts that I had a hard time believing were the details about the area. I lived in Santa Fe for 8 years and traveled between Santa Fe and Angel Fire at least once a year. And that is exactly what it is. You don't just jump in your car and run down to Santa Fe. It is not right around the corner as the book suggests. But I was able to put that aside and really enjoy the book.

WOW! Take your guts and wrench them out. All you want to do is go and pick little "Frank" up and say, I'll fix it honey, don't you worry", but you can't. He's grown up and telling you the story, but you still wish you could at least give him a hug.

This book was wonderful. I knew some of the history, but it filled out more!!! I loved every minute reading this book. I read it in 3 days, which for me is good. I usually read at night for 30 mins. and that's all I have time for, but this one I made the time. This is a must read!

This was a lovely book telling about a culture that I have never really understood or known. Always doing your best despite the tribulations of life is a great way to live no matter where you end up in your life.

If you have a chance, read this! If you have the time, read all the Boundary Books. They will make a difference in your life. I mentioned this book to a friend the other day and said if she was married, she should definitely read it. She had read the other Boundary books and her statement to me was, "I should read it, just in case I get married again. I will be better prepared". She is right! READ!

This was such an easy read with lovely stories. It really made you think about what Jesus and God gave each of us individually. Read it. It will not take you long and definitely not a waste of time.

I loved this book. It was an interesting take on why people do things that they do with their lives, how they stop their lives during tragedy and how they can move forward. The author does a wonderful job of pulling all the characters together.

If you have not read this series you need to. My husband enjoyed it as much as I did. I started reading it about the time the 4th book came out and loved it so much that I am now trying to just collect the hardbacks for the earlier books that I do not have. Read it before you watch it on TV. Its worth the 800plus pages per book!

This book was beautiful, haunting and heartbreaking all at the same time. I love reading about this time period in France. This history that Kristin Harmel brings to all her books is wonderful. Must Read.

Thought provoking! We used this book for a Bible Study in my women's group. It was wonderful to see how God is always there for us and especially for our Military. The testimonies in the back will make you grab tissues and send prayers.

Way better then the movie and I hope you read the book before you watch the movie. This book caused quite a stir at our local high school even getting one teacher fired. This was life during WWII, told better then some history book could.

If you like The Deep End of the Ocean, you will like this book. It is a story of a little girl caught between two families and all the deep emotions someone one has for their children, their grandchildren and our ability to do the right thing for the wrong reasons out of love.
