Did not enjoy at all. Found the plot to be far-fetched and the "American" characters to be despicable.

Since I have a teenage daughter, this book was a very relevant read and reminded me to keep tabs and keep communication open between us.

Incredible story about overcoming obstacles and dealing with the hand you were dealt. Precious' childhood is incredibly heartbreaking but her determination and perseverance are truly inspiring.

Great inside perspective of the child abuse scandal and the inner workings and politics of the Catholic Church.

Even though Dr. Laura is very conservative and olf-fashioned in her views, she does make some very valid points. I enjoyed reading it and it has given me a lot to think about.

Beautifully written story about love, friendship, loyalty. I could feel their pain and sorrow as they grew up in a world where girls are not valued. Highly recommend.

A good read reminding the reader that all is not it seems in a marriage or in a troubled teen's life.
