I love Thomas Harris, one of my favorite authors. However I found these essays hard to read.

His interactions are well written - there isn't one flat conversation in the book. I kept thinking this was an adult choose your own adventure book. He gives you enough to envision the story but leaves enough out to force the reader to paint their own picture. I loved that part of it!

He is referred to as the master of short stories. I assure you there is a reason for that.
