I enjoyed this book very much. I loved the love story between Jackson and Sarah. Sometimes a tender love story is the best, especially if it is small town and they knew each other before. Bad boy loves beautiful unattainable girl and stuff happens. Years later they encounter each other again and fall in love, while trouble mounts around them.

I enjoyed reading this book. I have been reading Mercedes Lackey's books for over 20 years but re-reading her books has been an experience. I started re-reading in chronological order, starting with Black Gryphon. The story starts 1000 years before the founding of Haven etc and tells the story of those who are fighting an evil and they need to win or else everything is lost.

I enjoyed this book very much. I have not read the Maggie O'Dell series yet, but I loved reading the Ryder Creed series with Maggie O'Dell in the books.

In this latest Dragonriders of Pern novel, Dragonheart, we meet Fiona, the only surviving daughter of Lord Bemin. This is her story as she impresses a Queen dragon and her adventures as an up and coming Dragon rider. I thought this was one of Todd's best books and I am enjoying the fact that he is continuing the stories of Pern. I would miss the Dragonriders Of Pern series if there were no more and I am glad that he is continuing them. I look forward to the next Pern book.

I enjoyed reading this book. I saw the movie which was really intense and very emotional. I wanted to read the book which was less intense but still emotional. Solomon Northrup was a free black man who was tricked by some evil men who ended up kidnapping him and selling him into slavery. He spent twelve agonizing years under several different masters and the lash until he was at last freed. Solomon Northrup tells you his story as he remembers it in the twelve years that he was a slave.
