One thing about the 'older' books such as 'The Blind Colt' by Glen Round and books by Sam Savitt, is they never go out of style. I read this book as a child and enjoyed it just as much as an adult. The humans in the story are stereotypical, but the story is really about the colt, not the humans. The blind colt's spirit shines through each trial as he struggles to survive in a sighted world. I found myself cheering and crying for him alternatively as he sought his true place in the world.

Fascinating true story about the stuggle of a bay to regain and redefine his life after being trapped in his body and unaware for five years.

I really enjoyed this book. The story was well-plotted and fit together well by the end. I always enjoy how the author fits together the normal and the fantastic.

Fast paced, spooky, start to a new series by D.J. McHale. Engaging characters, suspenseful plot that keeps the reader guessing until the end.

Fantastic book and and start of a series that promises to just get better. The characters are well-written, making it easy for the reader to relate to their lives. I liked the fact that the main character, even as skilled as she is in her profession, isn't always successful in her endeavors. Great characters, great writing and a world I look forward to exploring more.
