A small young adult book. I read it in two days. It doesn't talk much about Mackinac Island other than the foliage and the surrounding great lakes. It's more about the characters. I really enjoyed it!

I have only made it through chapter two of this book, but it has been amazing so far and I can't wait to read it at the end of every night! "Wild at Heart" by co-author John Eldredge was also amazing. It gave me a much deeper understanding of all the men in my life.

I read this book for fun during my freshman year of bible college. I thought it would be a great way to relax from the stress of textbook cramming. I got more out of the book than I ever imagined possible! It really made the book of Philemon come alive to me. Every time I think of the story of Onesimus (the slave), I see him in a completely different light. It relates the incredible journey of mankind from slavery to sin, finding freedom in Christ, and developing a servant's heart. I definitely recommend this book.
