I am a huge Angela Knight fan but I actually liked Diane Whiteside's story better. The way both authors worked together to create two seperate stories that began and ended together was amazing

I really liked the Heroine in this book. She was one of the least naive characters i have ever read.

I liked how easily the characters got along. All the conflict was external rather than two people obviously in love struggling to realize it.

The banter between Jane and Baran was hilarious. The sex was steamy.

Dwayne hates lies. Veronica has a few things she would like to keep to herself. Can't say I blame her. Is it a lie if you keep embarrassing information to yourself? I say no. Jeanette did a great job of portraying PTSD (Dwayne) and social awkwardness (Veronica). The characters are wonderfully developed. I loved the book.

Lydia and Caspian got the short end of the family stick. She is a famous (and slightly notorious) Callaway, and he is the changeling son of the Prince of Annwyn. Both situations come with a whole slew of trouble. Caspian is psychometric, meaning he gets impressions of an objects history when he touches them. Taking a job as a antiques appraiser is a good use of this skill. Not a skill I envy him for, that is for sure. Can you imagine everything you touch bombarding you with images and feelings that are not your own? Caspian and Lydia become each others safe harbor, a place to heal. I like what they represent to one another. It is more than just lust and passion. There is a sweetness to their love.

I get frustrated with fairies. They do what they want and no one make them pay the piper for the crap storm they inflict on others. The fairies in Outcast Prince were better behaved than most I have read, that is a consolation.

Definately my favorite of the dragon lords books. Pia is a woman who knows how to take care of herself. No simpering female begging to be rescued. Zoran is H-O-T. My favorite Dragon Lord!

Fayre Carlisle is such a great heroine. Heart broken and betrayed by the man she thought she loved, Fayre sets out to show london just what she is made of. Teaming up with Maccus Brawley the two set out to bring down Fayre's fickle lover and her father's ex-mistress. MAccus and Fayre are so magnetic. I am eagerly awaiting the next carlisle entry!
