The sheer quantity of errors in this book was appalling, and I have a hard time believing it was written by Nancy Holder. I've read and enjoyed many of her other books, and this one was definitely not written (or edited) well.
It tells the story of Season seven of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and there are bits here and there that were not in the show (scenes and dialog from the shooting script, perhaps, that were edited out of the episode?) and for those bits, and the fact that it's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I give it 2 stars.
I had a hard time making it all the way through this book (I am bothered and jarred out of the story by misspellings, missing words, bad punctuation, and unimaginative writing), but I soldiered through to the end.

I read the first chapter of this, but didn't like it. It seemed like a lame imitation of Lilian Jackson Braun's "Cat Who..." books, but fell far short of the original in several ways.

I can't remember if I have read this book. If so, it was a long time ago.

I enjoyed this book, although it is very outdated. This book discusses many works which were influential to J.R.R. Tolkien, and piqued my interest in reading classic literature.
