I really enjoyed this book. The author has a very unique style. The characters were well developed and the story was very interesting going in directions I never would have imagined. It is a great modern-esque play on the Snow White fable drawing in elements of race and beauty at a time in history when race relations were a very big issue. I highly recommend this book.

This was a cute book about four young women on a road trip to a conference. Definitely chick lit but the themes of feminism and cultural identity gave it an unusual spin. I really enjoyed the characters and thought they were very well developed. I would definitely recommend this book.

Ms. Copeland has a strong clear voice. Her story is very interesting given the nature of who she is and the history she has made. This is her history as a ballerina in her own words and it was interesting to read about how she came to be where she is and how she feels about it. She seems to struggle with her emotions while writing this book and at times it feels like you are not hearing her true feelings as she seems to not want to offend anyone. However, that could be a by product of writing about things and people that are currently in your life. All in all I enjoyed this memoir immensely. Ms. Copeland provides a narrative that is engaging and readable while providing insight and history into the world of Ballet.

This book was a very interesting insight into Mr. Vonnegut's mind. A lifetime of experiences which he shares in short little musings. I really enjoy his other works so I was excited to find this book of his. He shares his thoughts on society, the future, politics, just about everything and shares anecdotal stories from his past that helped shape him into the man and author he has become. If you like his other books I would recommend giving this book a read. This was not a difficult read at all.

This was an enjoyable read. I found it rather "light" in the way that it reads but the stories were very good. I thought it had interesting perspectives from each of the characters. The stories in this collection tie in together nicely.

I enjoyed this book. It catches you from the start. I liked the development of the characters. The story goes to a place I wouldn't have imagined and kept me interested. Some parts seemed underdeveloped and rushed but altogether I thought it was a good story with relatable characters.

Very fun read. The characters were delightful and very easy to get to know. Cute story about a girl on a fairy quest. There was just enough magic and skepticism to keep this story light and genuine. It's like a coming of age romance with a little fantasy.

I enjoyed this book. It was fun reading about Andy as a "grown - up". As many other reviewers have pointed out, it has a very different feel and tone than the first book. However, I thought that change in tone was perfectly appropriate and nice considering that we are now following a woman verses a fresh faced young girl.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were not the usual sort of people you come across in stories about a married couple and their lives. Their stories were wonderfully written. The author's writing style made this unusual love story between two unusual people a very interesting read. It is not really a science fiction story but rather a love story between two people, one of whom rockets into space to build robots and the other the "perfect" wife, pregnant at home. Very fun to read.

I really enjoyed this book. I found the time jumping to be a clever way of adding layers to the story. I really liked the way the narration changed between characters for different parts of the book because it felt like you were getting a fuller story. The ending wasn't that much of a surprise but I thought it wrapped up the novel nicely.
