Good refresher for what we should already be doing but with Joyce's humorous take on things added in to make it livable or real. Basically it says we should love as Jesus loved, be like him in showing love in action not just words, be kind and help those in need. Other people commented about the depressing start or how often Joyce mentions that she personally did this or that. It IS her book. She usually follows with the statement that not everyone can give money gifts. That's a good thing. If everyone had the same gifts and talents to give we wouldn't be able to reach all people right were they need it. Some people need time or something other than money to help. The "depressing" start... well it's real. We DO need a big change, the world needs more than a revival it needs a total revolution in the way we treat others. Christians-we are God's ambassadors here on earth. Let others see Christ in your and your works so that you bear good fruit.
