Blindsided: Lifting A Life Above Illness: A Reluctant Memoir (Thorndike Press Large Print Biography Series)
Review Date: 1/27/2009

This book is a pretty good book. I could relate to it b/c I have MS and could see things that happened to him happening to me. Maybe it is b/c I'm affaid it will happen to me that I didn't rate the book higher. It was a little depressing at times and yet truthful ALWAYS. Richard Cohen took you through his entire life leaving you wondering what would happen next to him.

Loved this book. Loving the O'Malley series. Love how the characters grow in each book. I got the 3rd book in the series (Negotiator) first, but wasn't feeling left out. It just made me want to read the first one even more.
Would highly recommend. My 16 year old daughter is reading it now. Haven't read much Christian romance books. Now I'm hooked.

I ordered this book when my children were babies. Loved it! Gread recipes and makes you feel more confident in making your own food for babies.
I recently order three more of this book to give as baby gifts.

You will be swept away into the life of the Guernsey Literary & Potato Pee Pie Society. The people are stubborn, warm, hard noised, full of life etc. The book starts out living the life during war, but in the end you get to see what war did to Guernsey island and what it did to them in a moving way.

I had a hard time putting this book down. I've been reading Dee Henderson's O'Malley series books. LOVE THE O'MALLEY SERIES. True Devotion was a insightful book on Navy Seals. I wouldn't have liked it if it went into more details than it did, but still it was very interesting. Just enough of a love store with religious beliefs and quotes from the bible thoughout. Nothing in it that my 16 year old daughter couldn't read. ;))))
