Enterprise was probably my favorite of the trek series - probably because it was the newest - i also liked the idea of going back and creating a beginning for what we already knew. Even though it blew up many facts we had already come to learn in previous series, i have come to peace with the newer vesion of the past. I read this book after seeing the episode and it followed the episode pretty well. It was a good story and was impressed with how the author was able to describe some pretty complex concepts as captured in the episode.

Since I enjoy most Star Trek books, this one was no different. I really enjoyed the primary story; i guess my only complaint was that so much detail in the book was spent on a role-palying game that members of the crew were playing during the events of the primary story. Having been an RPG'er in my child hood, i definitely found parts humorous, i guess i just found those sections to be a little too much. The authors did a good job of referencing earlier occuring episodes.

I find that I like most Star Trek Books, but compared to most others I've read, this one was simply OK. The story was nothing great - it just lacked something special.

This series just keeps getting better & better! I enjoyed Mack's writing so much i've decided to pick up some of his other books.

Novelization of the 1st season finale and 2nd season premiere. I guess it was not among my favorite of the episodes but was probably a candidate for novelization being a two-parter. The story did follow the episodes well and I peorsnally enjoyed re-reading what I had preiously seen in the episode. Good job by the author.

While I love the Vanguard series, this was easily my least favorite of the books I've read so far but i can't really put my finger on why. That being said, The Ruins of Noble Men was a well written back story.

Although I'm still a huge fan of the Vanguard series, i was quite disappointed in the ending of the series. Not that it was a bad story ending, but i guess i was looking for a more positive wrap-up.

Malcolm was not my favorite character, but it was still a good story. I enjoyed the book and appreciate all efforts to expand the Enterprise universe since the show was pulled too early - I needed more!
