The woman who wrote this book was born in 1917. Although it was written in 1992 it is still accurate on the state of birth here in the US.

I requested this for my teenage son. He was very interested (and still occasionally mentions it) He was not sure he could figure out how to set up the game without help from someone who has played it. Your results may vary.

My boys liked this ages 7 and 13. I found it was like reading a play by play of a video game screen. Maybe it gave them game tips?
