I love the way David Ezra Stein shows how our actions impact others and the message that in the end helping others helps ourselves too. This simple and clever story communicates a powerful message without sounding didactic.

Great book but beware of the binding type/isbn issue for this book. Some on PBS are shown as hardcovers are softcover copies. I found out the hard way. :-(

Helpful Score: 1
The author (Klentschy) was convicted of fraud and embezzlement. He also admitted to submitting falsified test scores in his research on science instruction. Because of this, the NSTA Press is no longer publishing this book stating that the underlying data is in question. (A google search for "Klentschy falsifying data" will deliver many articles with more details.)
