If you are interested in forensics & the beginning of the science of forensics, historical fiction with a great character lineup,& a great murder mystery that will keep you reading then this book is for you. The setting is the turn of the century New York, characters like Theodore Roosevelt, as police commissioner will peak your interest. You are given an insight few will ever know about the seedy side of New York City. You will watch the psychological development of a character who is unknown but is a serial killer. This book is a "hard subject read" because it deals with child protitution, pedophellia, child abuse and murder. Great book to read.

This was a great book. The author does a fine job of weaving the past and the present into the story. Scares the hell out you.

Good read. If you like Jeffery Deavers this is a most read.

The back cover of this book says, "...DaVinci Code is posioning the faith of millions....b/c of its lurid prose and sensationalistic....claims...". Well that's a lot for one book. One must remember the DVC is a novel written for entertainment purposes to make an author money. It is FICTION.
It is ludicrous that anyone should feel it necessary to change his/her religious beliefs because of it or has to get the real truth from an obscure little book like the Davinvi Deception. This book is not worth the time it took to read.

Did not enjoy this book. I felt it was very sophomoric. Don't read it b/c it will only encourage him.

This was really a great book. A little more wordy that I felt was needed (600+ pages) but then again it is a S.K. novel. But what really impressed me this time is that the novel had a very good ending. Usually I find S.K.'s endings not very well thought out, seeming like he runs out of things to write about or just got tired of writing, therefore...end it. But, this one I feel is different. Well worth the read all the way to the end.

I was a little disappointed. I have read Deaver before. I am a fan of his writing, but many of the stories in MORE TWISTED were predictable. But then again it is a short story collection.

I had seen the movie and wasn't impressed. Hence, I was "kinda" reluctant to read the book. I am so glad I did. The book was so much better than the movie. It was a "nail biter" all the way to the very end. Preston & Child are such great story tellers. I can't wait to get started on the sequel....Reliquary. You "gotta" love Pendergast.

This was a great effort in story telling. But you sell yourself short if you read this before RELIC. If you have read RELIC, you want to read this sequel. It is a "nail biter", "can't put it down " kind of book. You have gotta love Pentergast.

Great book. This book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Preston and Child are great story tellers. Their development of characters & surroundings is very impressive. If you have read other books by Preston & Child and like them, then this book is a definite must read.

Good story line. Good read. Jim Butcher is a great story teller. I so enjoy the bits of humor he allows Harry Dresden.
