A fun romantic romp.

One of the best story-tellers around, and her regencies and historicals are her best genres. This is entertaining.

Typical romance story, with some extra depth.

Catherine Coulter is a very good writer. She uses humor, good characterization and interesting plots and this adds little less-known facts for our edification. I enjoyed her protagonist -- and wish I could have her for a friend.

Steamier than I prefer, with less emphasis on the story-line and character-developement, but light romance is typically that.

Historical romance better than most of the genre.

He is a great writer. I believe, he is better in story-telling than Tom Clancy, although Baldacci does not have the grasp of technology that Clancy has, perhaps not as well-researched, a strength Clancy himself holds. Baldacci's plots are intriguing and his characterizations well-drawn.

An enjoyable read, because the heroine is growing into a more confident gal and the hero is learning about life while the author keeps the pace of the romance real with conflicted emotions that the situation warrants. An interesting locale combines with characters you like and want to know. Some extra words padded which I always skip. For the sexual act, I prefer only dialogue and character advancement with sensual mystery, rather than overt descriptions of the physical process, not being a voyeur.

If you like light military reading, with engaging heros, then read W.E.B. Griffin and his son, William E. Butterworth IV. Be warned of serial affairs and rough language, however.
This _Curtain of Death_ is part of a newer series. There are now 4 out, and all are worth reading.

7 cassettes of fast-paced listening. While Dan Brown is weak on reality -- things are irrational, inconsistent and not making sense or not being completed in the work, so one is left hanging, Brown is a fascinating story-teller. So if you can suspend your intelligence for a brief while, you can have an enjoyable time with his work.

An earlier effort from a budding good writer. Simply-plotted. Lacking in understanding of the difference between romance integral to plot and extraneous padding of graphic imagery. Characterizations less mature than her later books, but the humor is fun - an enjoyable read.

This collection of three is typical Nora Roberts early Romance. Good characterizations, clever language, some light development of characters to be less self-oriented, so they are open to the hero. The first is the best.

Dee Henderson has written a few of my favorite books of all time. This is one of them. Full Disclosure is well-crafted writing as peeling layers of mystery are revealed - with an unexpected twist and a heart-warming romance.

I read the second book first and enjoyed it as fluff. Then I looked up the author and saw the TV series, then read this one. _Heat Wave_ fell flat, comparatively. I like the characterizations of the TV series better than those of the novels, but they both could dispense with the illicit sex, as the dialogue interplay of the main two is better writing than the flagrancy of the blatant description of the act itself.

Ups and downs and the heart-warming changes of mistakes, losses, and moving on.

Harry Turtledove is an historian with a marvelous twist of curiosity as to what would happen if something had gone differently. That has inherent lessons for us to learn about our future actions.

A bit unrealistic, but romance strikes in a weird manner - with even her parents proving that love wins out.

Improbable, but so much fun that one hardly notices in laughing at the high-jinks. 5* Mostly fun as the author weaves her plot, some romance, a bit of mystery, and a smidgen of evil characters out to get the protagonists.
