My wife and I heard this audio last week on a trip and it was really very good with plenty of action and twists in the tale. A little gruesome in some areas in description of the murdered, but keeps you involved all the way to shall we say a surprising end. Try it, you will probably like it.

Listened to abridged version and my wife, I , and mother in law loved it. We had to sit in the car for an extra half hour to finish it as our trip was too short and we were not about to not hear the end right then. We have liked all Tess's books and this one was a pleasure.

This is really an action packed book. I listened to it with my two teenage grandsons on a trip we took recently. They would not even wait for our return trip to hear the story and kept going out to the car to hear more. The story keeps you on edge all the way to the end with a great surprise ending. The author did a great job portraying the challenges of a CEO, especially in this day and edge and having been one, I really appreciated dynamics of relationships between the characters. This was my first Joseph Finder book, but not my last for sure.

This book takes place back in the 30s and is interesting as it is narrated by a murderer, something rare. An insurance agent decides to help a woman kill her husband to collect on insurance. It has some interesting twists and I would certainly recommend it and wish I could find more audio books by this author.
