I loved this book! It's one of my favorites.
Her writing style is so wonderful.
The only thing I didn't care for was her short poems at the end of each chapter. I didn't care for her poem writing style at all, but they are very short, and skipping them, in no way, is a problem.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

Wonderful story about how a crippled lamb felt unwanted and different than the others, but at the end, it was used for a very SPECIAL purpose. Makes kids realize that even though they might be different in some way, God still can use them.

This is a wonderful book that tells of a woman's dream to stay with an Amish family and learn of their ways, and while doing so, cast revelations into her own feelings and ways of living in life afterwards. I learned a lot of interesting information about the Amish culture while reading this great, true story. It's a must to read, especially if you have ever had an interest in the Amish people and their way of life.

What a Father Should Tell His Son
By Isabelle Thompson Smart, M.D.
Volume 4 in the Mysteries of Life series
Copyright 1911, The Bodmer Company
A "birds and the bees" book for young men. Good condition for a book that was written in 1911. Small tear on bottom edge of binding, but overall, in good shape. Has all pages in tact, but does have some age discoloration overall.
Excerpt:
"The entire physical and mental structure of woman points to the grand purpose of her life and being, just as the physical structure of man denotes that he was intended to provide the material needs of the woman who makes his home and children possible. Woman is more sensitive than man and at times easily excited. Also likely to be impulsive and not so prone to stop and reason."
