The variety of art and stories is fantastic and it's beautifully represented in this collection. If you're a fan of short self-contained comics and Batman, this is a great collection.

A great collection of 1 page comics about the flawed serial killer, Butch. Dark humor and horror movie references abound. A very fun fast read. These comics and more can also be viewed at choppingblock.org .

I loved the Max reboot of Marvel's classic horror comic. My only criticism is this 4 issue run starts the story but it doesn't look like they are going to finish it. If looking for a complete story then this is not the book for you. If you're ok with open endings this is a great book. As an added bonus beyond the 4 issue run, this book also includes reprints from the 70's Marvel horror crossover between Tomb of Dracula and Werewolf by Night.
