If you liked Harry Potter, you will probably like this book - a society of magicians rules the world, and they are conniving and selfish, but the plots are fascinating to read about, and the hero has some redeeming qualities.

The characters of the book Dune are more fully fleshed out in this book, which somehow manages to keep the flavor of the original classic.

This was a good, fast read. The society of the dragon Jousters is part fantasy and part semi-Egyptian in the presentation of the people, the worship of many gods and a few other ways. Hard to put down.

This book takes a small footnote in the Bible and expands it into an interesting character. The vivid descriptions make this a book that is hard to put down.
