Great book for the home-schooler! Hardcover Grade 3 music book, but has material appropriate for younger children too. It includes songs from around the world, songs from American history, holiday songs, etc. It contains overviews of various instruments,and shows how to make a drum and how to play a recorder. Many fun songs for children ages 6-9.

Another great novel from Anne Perry! Pitt and Charlotte work on a new mystery in London during the late 1800's. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Excellent start to a great mystery series that also contains a hint of budding romance between 2 unlikely people at opposite ends of the social scale. I was happy to find this book on PBS, to look back at how the whole series started, and I wasn't disappointed!

My preteen soon loved this book, and that's really saying something! He's very hard to please, but he suddenly WANTED to go to bed at night, so he could read this book. I'm now looking for more from this author.
