This is a great cookbook if you are looking for ideas for what to fix from what you have on hand. The pasta recipes really appealed to me. They were simple and used ingredients that I usually have in the house. They also relied on vegetables for color and flavor and did not involve either a lot of time or expertise. Family fare. I borrowed it from the library but will buy a copy to have on my go-to cookbook shelf.
I really hadn't expected the book to be this good. I do watch Chopped but couldn't imagine myself using the weird ingredients in one dish. This is nothing like the program in that you use what you have and like - not some peculiar combinations.

Entertaining novel about 3 women friends. Characters seem real with human foibles and problems.

What a wondrous tale. This is one of the most enjoyable books I've read this year and I probably read at least 4 books a week. My copy disintegrated after being shared in our small community so I am wishlisting a second copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author made Major Pettigrew a three dimensional character that you could see and hear in a vivid manner.
It's not exciting but deals with issues "normal" people would be likely to experience.
