The journal of a foreign correspondent, 1934-1941. Here is the first uncensored and intimate account of Germany in the Second World War. Here is the private, personal, utterly revealing journal of a great foreign correspondent, in which he tells the things he saw and experienced during the seven terrible years in which Hitler rose to power and conquered most of a continent. Now, at last, millions of Americans who listened ot William L. Shirer's remarkable broadcasts from Berlin and other European cities can read the things that couldn't be said through censored microphones.

Whoever thought so much could be written about clutter?! This book was a real blessing because it explains why we have a need for clutter of all kinds - and why it can be so painful, yet joyful to let it go. "The older you are, the more you have to de-junk. And the longer you've been junked, the happier you'll be de-junked!" It also talks to us about teaching our children to de-junk at an early age. Very, VERY helpful and practical!

"Codependent" is more than just a word joked about in sit-coms. It is for real. But it is so difficult for the person who is codependent to realize it. They don't intend to control others and everything around them - that is just their comfort zone and how they deal with life. But they need to learn how to love themselves and to care for themselves. The rest of the world will appreciate it and they will live longer and love more fully. A good read.

A fun book that draws the reader into the story. The reader gets to complete the ending - but I don't want to give it away!

This book is an excellent read. I thoroughly enjoyed it - couldn't put it down - and have already recommended it to others. They tell me the same and are recommending it to their friends, as well. The author truly captured the pioneer spirit of this woman and how God helped her to endure all she went through.

Maybe you've watched Oprah for years, and listened to all the weight loss advice. Then there was Dr. Phil. And your own doctor has told you it would be good to take off a few pounds. But nothing works. The experts tell you a good snack is plain popcorn, or an apple - but after you eat either of those, you feel famished! You're hungrier than BEFORE you ate! Then you desperately need this book! It will tell you WHY you need to eat differently. You will learn all about insulin resistance, and why that is important - and not just for diabetics. FINALLY - what you need to know!

Michael and Tom Curtis are identical twins who share a love for football. Unfortunately, due to a tragic accident, Michael must watch from the sidelines as his brother calls the plays on the football field. A fast-paced novel as much about twinship as it is football.

A little old fashioned, but the book contains some good ideas. There are also some things we already know, but need to be reminded of from time to time. I enjoyed the read - hope you will, too.

I LOVE the song and it is a cute book, but the verses get all mixed up in the middle. The music and words are at the end, but the words at the end do not go along with the words of the book. So cute - but I was disappointed in this publishing error.

Lee Iacocca describes his rise to the top of Ford Motor Company and how he saved Chrysler from bankruptcy. A good read - interesting information.
