An interesting collection of short stories all about prom. Well worth reading, they were good stories (although there were a few I didn't "get") and several worth a special mention. I particularly enjoyed Your Big Night by Sarah Mlynowski, Better Be Good To Me by Daniel Ehrenhaft, Three Fates by Aimee Friedman, The Back Up Date by Leslie Margolis and The Great American Morp by John Green.

I picked this book up in a thrift store because I liked the cover! Not the usual type of book I'd read but once I started it I was hooked. It was well written, I cared about the lead characters and really enjoyed this historical paranormal romance. There was even some light comedy included, courtesy of a gnome called Nuisance. Enjoy!

I had never read this author before and the series caught my attention because it was about cemeteries. I'm a genealogist and love cemeteries, so I had to read it and wasn't dissappointed!
The whole series is great but I think this was my favorite of the three books. As already mentioned, this could be read as a stand alone (because it takes place away from the main setting of Charleston and most of the characters from books 1 & 3) but it would make more sense to read them in order and you will want to read all three!
Ethereal settings, descriptive writing and engaging plot lines, make this series a great read. It's billed as a paranormal romance but mystery fans will find plenty to like about it too. Somewhat dark in nature, if you scare easily don't read these on your own or too late at night!

If you like books set in Tuscany, this needs to be added to your reading list.
A gentle, charming and sometimes very amusing read, about a small village and it's inhabitants on the Tuscan coast. While the story centers mostly around the church, it is not overly religious and can therefore be enjoyed by anyone with a love of all things italiano!

An excellent Christmas read. Loved the writing style and the characters draw you in to the story. Enjoyed this book a lot and will be looking for some of the author's other work.

A very fun, cute, Christmas read, which you don't need to be a teen to enjoy!

If you like fiction books with just a touch of magic, then you'll love The Sugar Queen!
I read this book straight after Garden Spells (although the two books are not connected) and it's hard to say which I enjoyed more. Once again set in North Carolina and centered around a small town and it's residents, I guessed the major twist in the book very early on but it still didn't spoil my enjoyment of this wonderful book.
I'm very much looking forward to Sarah Addison Allen's next book and hope she writes many more.

This book was a bit of a let down for me. If I pick up a book called When in Rome, then is it wrong to expect more than 55 of the 264 pages to actually be set in Rome?! Most of the book takes place in London.
I liked the main character Georgie enough to finish the book, even though I thought she was pretty clueless about most things. I won't be running out to find another book by this author though, I guess British chick lit isn't for me and I'm from England!!
