Typical Deaver. A twisted, fun read with lots of interesting forensic-style "science" based on handwriting characteristics. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have read it several times.

An easy read, providing some interesting insights into both the world of restaurant critics and Ruth Reichl in particular. Some good recipes interspersed with the text. Good fun.

Touching, funny, and sad. A great read about a man, his family, and their dog. If you love dogs (or animals more generally, for that matter), this is a fantastic book. The book is well written, making for a relaxing and easy read.
