The book covers a wide range of shrubs and trees and the pictures are very good. The information appears to be very sound.

I ordered this book because I had read about the author. This particular book will resonate in different ways with different people. After I started reading the book I read a review that this title differed from his other works but there were some "gems" in it. I did find a few interesting sections but feel this was not a good title to discover the author through. The author writes as he is experiencing his day for waking until lunch time. He reflects on "self" as well as family, interactions among people and God.

THe author gives a detail account of the last day of John Kennedy, Jrs. life. To "flesh out" the man and his immediate world, the author incorporates a lot of historical data involving John Kennedy's whole life.

The Paperback Swap label said "unknown author" but the author is Gwen Christine Mold. THe book is all in four color photos and gives a variety of ideas for decorating a home, creative ways to decorate packages and small decorations one can make. Directions are given in detail. A pretty book for those who love Christmas idea books.

This story is based on the unlikely friendship of a Southern college student and a negro slave. The story line keeps the readers interest and leaves one wondering what became of the main character.

THe author presents a very interesting look at one man's life after he has died. It is well done how he incorporates people the man knew and didn't knew. It is an interesting take on how our actions impact others although unknown to us.

I haven't tried any of recipes in this book so I didn't rate it a five. I wanted Heart of Home because I had Vineyard Seasons and just enjoyed very much the pictures and "reading" the cookbook - hand't tried those recipes either. If you enjoy cooking and pretty books, you'll enjoy this one.

This book has lovely illustrations, you might say they are in minature. The copy is produced in a blend of colors, light green to light brown. That adds to the overall color of the page. The artist worked in minute detail so keep a magnifying glass handy. Many old sayings about gardens and even a few recipes. Folklore mixed in throughout.

Story thoughts for an entire year. Sarah Breathnach suggests way to simplify in an effort to bring more joy into one's life. But it doesn't insist on simplifying to fine joy. When this book was first published it offered a fresh, new approach and was widely talked about.

A history that includes laughter in the Bible. Unusual book for the topic. Really large Biblography that would give the reader lots of other options to explore.

There's a lot of insight into this. How the author did not succeed reveals a lot of the very personal side of small business.

Even though this book is dated for 2011, the readings and mediations are inspirational at any time. Each reading is one page, so one can take something from the reading with just a few moments of time devoted to reading it.

Helpful Score: 1
This book was a pleasure to read. Although a cookbook it is one of those books that is a "chat" with the author and the pictures set a dreamy atmosphere while one reads away the various recipes. If you enjoy owning pretty books you might want to add this one to your list.
