It took me a little bit to start enjoying this book, but it had been recommended by someone who knows my tastes, so I kept reading. I came to really look forward to reading it each day and was very sad when I finished it. I am eagerly looking forward to reading more about Mary Russel and her exploits with Sherlock Holmes. They are fun and exciting. Highly recommend for Sherlock lovers and strong woman protagonists lovers.

Part of a series about werewolves who meet and romance their chosen life mates. This book is the first of the series and takes place in Wisconsin.

If you enjoy Janet Evanovich, you will like Bubbles. She is a Pennsylvania girl with an attitude and a lot of moxie. These books are fun and easy to read. They leave you will a nice taste in your mouth, just like bubbles from a good champagne.

A fun book that moves very quickly after the first few chapters. It is not a paranormal romance, but is a full-on sexy, fun romance. Really liked the characters and enjoyed the culmination of the story.

This is my favorite of the Sigma Force series. It is the first book of the series and introduces some of the characters. It moves quickly and is very exciting. The technology information is top notch. I found myself googling all kinds of new information as the book enticed me to learn more. I think it helps to have read this one first as it is referred to in the later books.

The name Thurlo is associated with books dealing with American Indian lore and this one does not disappoint. The romance is good, the plot is good, and the setting is excellent. I highly recommend it to romance lovers and readers of American Indian stories, such as written by Hillerman or Doss.

First book of the pet sitters saga, it explains the details of why Kendra is a pet sitter. Fun book, with good characters and a love of dogs and pets that is well detailed. I enjoyed it a lot and want to read more of Kendra.

Precious Ramotswe is the eminently sensible and cunning proprietor of the only ladies' detective agency in Botswana. These books are a joy to read. They flow with imagery and leave a nice feeling when completed. Precious is so wise and so real. She is the friend you wish you could talk things over with, and have her help coping with life. "McCall Smith has an easy command of storytelling and a gift for describing dusty, sunbaked Botswana. His books are also gentle but incisive commentaries on Africa, men and women, and life in general." The Seattle Times

This series of paranormal romances feature Vampire men and mortal women. They are fast moving, sexy and fun to read. Each book has as the main character a Vampire Warrior, a member of a special forces group assigned to keep other vampires and mortals safe from rogues. He meets his 'breed mate' at some point in the book and rescues her from danger. Standard theme, but very well written.

I enjoyed this book, but not as much as the previous ones. Kat Colorado is a valiant woman. I missed Hank in this one. It is a book that makes a statement about medical fraud, the FDA, and company ethics. Worth reading, but slower going than the previous, lighter mysteries.
