I really enjoyed this book, I was broken by the mistreatment that Lay Me Down suffered in the racing industry. That was an eye opener. Susan is to be commended for the commitment she made to this beautiful horse, financially and emotionally. Her story of abandonment as a child and never feeling that she had a place to belong spoke to my heart.
I would recommend this book to anyone who's heart has been broken. In his book Susan reveals how healing can be found in the simple lessons of life. DH

A Legacy of Faith: A Fresh Look at Blessing, Morality, Self-Worth, and Mentorship
Review Date: 12/26/2008

This book is a collection of home-spun tales that reminds the reader of the importance of "the legacy we leave". From his meager beginnings the author recounts how the love of his earthly father led him to meet the Heavenly Father whose love he craved. I really enjoyed this book, alot of what the author wrote about I could relate to. When you receive this book you'll have a hard time putting it down. An easy read!

I ordered this book after seeing the movie "My name is David" which was based on this book. The book was intended for a pre-teen audience but, I enjoyed it very much! David is a young boy who is raised in the gray world of a post WWII prison camp. His escape and introduction to the world where he experiences the beauty of Gods creation is a fascinating read. The story has some great twists and turns and I would fully recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book..I especially liked how the author over-layed the lives of the two main female characters. The unexpected twists and turns made this a wonderful read.I was so into the story that I read it through quickly the first time and then, right away I read it again more methodically..Loved it!
