This book is a quick read of "oops" moments of well known people. Good for a chuckle!

Edge has the gift of gab and his writing is just as good. His life and love of the sport and his friendships with other superstars all make a great read! It makes his retirement even sadder. I hope he puts out another book to cover his last six years in the ring.

I'm enjoying the series but confused. Apparently the fourth book is "ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS FUDGE" but it was a limited print and available mainly on Kindle. So why is this book numbered 4? Do you not need to read the Kindle version to understand this book?
Authors should know it really loses a lot of readers by going back and forth with Kindle.

Good book. Spade goes into his childhood, breaking into the comedy field, Saturday Night Live and his friendship/partnership with Chris Farley. But I was disappointed that he did not go into any of his television work at all.

I had a hard time with this one. The story jumps from present day, to the past with her brother, to the dreams that she keeps having. No warning, just a sudden change in the story. It was hard to follow and I just lost interest.

Truly awful television at its best. The worst shows ever aired are all here to laugh at.

I've enjoyed this series, but this book was very disappointing. The characters introduced were stereotype and dull, the plot was predictable and there were a lot of pot shots at religion. I ended up skipping large chunks of the book and going to the end quickly. Sarah Booth gets herself held hostage (again) and all of her friends who apparently have no lives of their own are right there to help her out (again). I'll read the next one in the series before making a decision to quit or not. This one just wasn't up to par for me.

I am in agreement with most of the other reviewers for this book. Cemetery Girl had me right from the start. It is a really gripping story. Unfortunately, it goes horribly wrong at the end. There is really no resolution to the story. It just sort of ends. And getting to the end was when I thought everything would be explained. That a-ha! you always look for in a mystery. It just wasn't there.

This book is a tribute to those often-overlooked actors whose job was to take the brunt of the jokes and make the leading stars look good. Read about the character actors that you saw over and over again in your favorite sitcoms. This book covers a wide timeline and includes many of the greats.

The Dead Celebrity Cookbook: A Resurrection of Recipes from More Than 145 Stars of Stage and Screen
Review Date: 8/12/2017

Some great trivia included but the recipies are very basic, very easy, very quick. Not a book to seek out if you are looking for original or unique recipies.

The Dead Celebrity Cookbook Presents Christmas in Tinseltown: Celebrity Recipes and Hollywood Memories from Six Feet Under the Mistletoe
Review Date: 4/11/2019

I think if you are looking for some ideas for your Christmas party this year, you should look elsewhere. But this is a really fun book. Quirky and obscure recipes. There are a lot of fun facts about the celebrities that contributed. Well worth the read!

I like this series and I read them fairly quickly. This one was no exception. However, it was a big let down. The author seems to be dropping a lot of good characters to bring in the fae storyline which just doesn't interest me. I thought the previous book was the end of it but no, here they are again. And at the end of the book, who cares? So little happened that I don't really anticipate the next book in the series.

What do you expect from a rocker? Sex, drugs and rock & roll. This book needed less sex and drugs and much more rock & roll.

Anyone who has read the Stephanie Plum series will recognize early on that this series is identical. Plum has a flamboyant black hooker best friend, Sokol has a flamboyant black transvestite best friend. Plum has a crazy grandma living with her parents, Sokol has a crazy uncle living with her parents. Plum's mother cooks constantly, always has enough for guests and doggie bags. So does Sokol's mother. Plum and Sokol both have one bad boy love interest, and one good guy love interest. Plum works for her weasley relative. Sokol works for her roomate's weasly relative. Neither Plum nor Sokol can use a weapon. Neither Plum nor Sokol is ever prepared for a stakeout. It just goes on and on. I got bored with the Plum series, I am already bored with the Sokol series after one book.

I did like the book but the encyclopedia format made the stories short. I would have liked more info about a lot of them. Good read, but lacking.

Stephanie Plum is a bungling, inept bounty hunter who gets into ridiculous situations where she relies on her two very rich, very handsome boyfriends who have all the money, all the connections, all the knowledge and all the time in the world to rescue her. Sound familiar? It should. This is the eighteenth story in a row without anything new. Listen, when Lula & Grandma don't have any funny lines you know the series is getting stale.

I like the subject matter but the stories were really lacking in detail. Someone heard voices, a vase was moved... it seems very mundane. I'm sure there are better ghost stories out there.
