Two excellent stories of Christmas; one set in Appalachian and Julia's unusual reason to go there and her unrelenting efforts to leave Mistletoe, Kentucky. The other story is set in Noel, Missouri about two childhood friends and a visiting author. Such a good read!

Fabulous book! I thoroughly enjoyed this book about a pilot and a nurse in the Amazon! I could feel the humidity, smell the odors, experience the fear of flying, taste the Amazon morsals!, see the blackness of the River Negro, feel the heat and fear of the black water, and understand the need for God's constant presence with them. This was a page-turner book for me! Enjoy, this is a must-read for everyone!

A wild goose chase quilt pattern set the stage for a wild goose chase through the ups and downs of Izzy's troubled family. There's lots of humor, which I've always enjoyed from Jennifer AlLee's books; a mystery; a love story; and some reconciliation. I highly recommend this novel to those who love humor, love Christmas, are drawn to romance, and want a challenge to problem solve.
