This books was wonderful enough that I ordered the other two she has written to date. Classic regency romance, not too serious but hard to put down once you suspend disbelief regarding the initial premise. Highly recommended.

Wonderful book, classic Regency Romance by beloved author.
From back cover:
"Deception!" Such an ugly word. But the correct word for what she had done. And yet her position as governess to the Brewster family was her lifeline. She had seized it as the only possible means of survival.
And there had been no problem. None at all. At least not until HE arrived. But what would she do now if Mr. Simon Kirkland saw through her disguise? If, underneath the gray powder and dark shadows that made her look a fading spinster, he should discern Virginia Spicer, the very girl he had laughingly called "Miss Ginger Spice," only six months ago the Belle of Bath!
