If you like Dan Brown that is a plus when reading this book, because he writes the same as in the 'The DaVinci Code', I felt like I was reading the 'The DaVinci Code' all over again except it had different characters and the plot was different, the tone, the ambience all the same, not much different, just a copycat version but the names have been changed. Wish they could have found someone else besides Mr. Hanks to be the main character in both movies. He doesn't fit the character. They needed someone younger, as much as I find Hanks a good actor, this is one time he's not.

Oversized paperback with a teacher's name on the inside? or someone's name on the inside. Otherwise in good condition.

Mz. Goldsmith has done a superb job in writing a real funny novel with Jon errr, Jonny and his true love yet doesn't know it, Tracie. It tickled my sides and made me laugh pleasantly. I like to laugh because something is funny, not because someone or something thinks its funny and that I should laugh. 3 thumbs up, Olivia. Keep up the good work. I am getting ready to read your "The bestseller".

A cute book to read. It has a name and a blacked out stamp on the inside of the cover. Otherwise in good shape.

I had anxiously awaited to receive this book to read, only to find out it is basically written in journal style/letters style, with little other than 1st person dialogue. Really felt discouraged on it, probably why there was a quick turn around in putting it back on my bookshelf to trade after receiving it the first week of September 2008. No thanks I'll pass on this author if this is how he writes, I was piqued with curiosity with his 'Prague' but lesser now.

It starts out okay, but then it just goes and goes and goes, and before you know it you are having to force yourself to open it up and read it. The author adds a lot of nuances throughout the book in masse, that Hughes was a closet homosexual. I had heard rumors and still don't care if he was. He really wasn't anyone fantastical to remember, considering his accountant was the one who really made the Hughes fortunes for Howard. So he could play with his planes, and waste his money on his escapism ideals of movies. All in all if you have the time and want to the insight into this mans life, this is the book.

Is it me or are these books starting to lose their originality and freshness?

Its a nice little romance book dated in the chivalry, knights era. Eloise has been badly damaged by a string of bad luck with husbands. But her healing powers, au naturale, will bring the one she will adore and love to her side forever. Not bad, I read it in 8 hours.

Bill Cosby again, is enormously funny. ROFL, I mean it.

Good for anyone, especially for the college guy, who isn't into cooking or the single female who doesn't have time to cook.

I don't get into NASCAR, but this is a book that should be made into a movie, it is hil-ar-ious! Funny, funny, funny, from dead bodies in trailer to missing parts as appetizers for bowzer, not real name. From Puerto Rican chicks that think they're detectives or something religiously funny. A must read.

It's winter in Keyhole Bay, Florida, and while the tourist trade is slow, souvenir shop owner Glory Martine is busy with her best friend's wedding. But between managing preparations, the bride's in-laws, and a haunted parrot named Bluebird, Glory makes plans to catch a killer.
I am very unhappy that this is the last book in Mrs. Fifield's series of mysteries, 'The Haunted Souvenir Shop" mysteries. It saddens me that I am not going to read anymore about Bluebird or Glory's spunky good-natured attitude, or if she is ever going to get engaged or wed or bookstore across the street beau.

This gal has had a rough life as a child, as an actress, as a daughter, as a wife, I am so glad she is now finally, whewwwwwww, able to have some enjoyment in her life. From her narcissistic non mother, and her eqotistical, violent, wife and girlfriend beating father, Ryan O'Neal, to the people he let abuse her and violate her, to constantly degrading her humanness and accomplishment. To her a*****hole husband, McEnroe, whom we all know what he's like. This woman needs a break. She may have had her digs in, but that's only because she was forced into actions in order to survive amongst the giants of humans in the Hollywood scenes and the 60's and the 70's and the pre-protection of children laws. Hooooooraahhhh for you Tatum. Good autobiography, she's brutally honest with herself and others. A very good read. I didn't put it down but once since I started reading it, and I'm not into bios.

Top part of binding is detaching. There is a dedication writing on the inside of cover from a grandmother to her grandson. A purple crayon line on the opposite page. Two pages on their bottom corner are dog-eared, slightly. Other than that, the book is in good condition ready for some more loving hands to read it.

The story is light and easy to read if you don't have a better book lying around begging to be read. It is quite confusing regarding the beginning and her companion. Through out the book her companion leave you with confusion and wondering what is his deal in the book. Kind of dumb. I give it a rating of Wouldn't buy it in the store, but would read it on a free trade rating.
