I bet this is a pretty good series, if you start at book #1. I did not. This was my first Lee Child and first of this series. I found it just okay - but I contribute that to listening to the abridged version which can sometimes feel like you are listening on fast forward.

I had to force myself all the way through this book and then I wanted to kick myself. Maybe because it was not at all what I expected when I read the back cover.
