A quick fun book. Highly recommend series for light escape vampire reading. I'd consider it an adult Twilight series.

The Cuckoo's Calling (Cormoran Strike, Bk 1)

I mostly enjoyed this book. The main characters were well developed and intriguing. I felt there were too many superflous characters and they muddied the story. There were a few parts I was slogging through but for a majority of the book it was very engaging and fun to read. I really hate when an author brings in a bunch of random facts at the end of the mystery to solve the crime and that's exactly what happened here, however the main characters are the backbone of the story and are brought full circle. Despite these flaws, by the end of the book I was looking forward to reading Book 2.

I enjoyed reading this for inspirational ideas. The rugs are beautiful and you could make this with your own color combinations for home decorating. Love the shopping/beach bags.

I enjoyed this book. This was the first book I've read of Erdich's and some of the women in my book club liked her previous work better. It was quirky and all over the place, which I liked. I was often confused about what time I was in and which character was being referenced, but as I kept reading things made more and more sense.
