If you like the Star Wars novels you will like this book. It has the (slightly tarnished) good guys including an alien side kick trying to carry out the mission they agreed to do. The bad guys are trying to stop the good guys and continue their evil ways of corruption and illegal profit. A good read in the space opera style.

A very good first novel. It is good enough to have caused me to read all of the others in the series. The writing gets better as you go through the later books.

A book about rude, crude Aussies written by an Aussie. The premise is very good and the viewpoints expressed are realistic but the characters are not very likeable.
