I was recently introduced to the Matthew Scudder Series. I enjoyed the first one so much that I requested all of the series. They have been, for me, an excellent read. The characters are 'real' and enjoyable . The series follows their growth and change.
My one regret is that I have not been able to locate #2 & #4 and that #12 has not arrived as yet.

Have read most of the series. Great characters, good plot lines Great continuity. Enough humor to lighten the darker moments...I'm a Matthew Scudder/ Lawrence Block fan

It was recommended by a tour guide while I was in Ireland...I ennjoyed the content as it filled out many of the points touched on by said cuide. To quote Arte Johnson: "Interesting...very interesting."

Loving Mr. Darcy was not my favorite of the "Darcy" novels. I did not expect to find the 'loving' in the physical sense That is not to say I didn't enjoy the story, just that, again, it was not my favorite.

This was my intro to Matthew Scudder. I liked it well enough to request every book in the series. I was not disappointed. I have a whole circle of "new friends"
