Very well written historical novel, based on the Irish fairy tale about the girl whose brothers were turned into swans and her efforts to restore them to their human form. The is the first in a loosely connected trilogy. They are all very good, with some romance, mystery, and fantasy.

Stories for young Americans, this is a book of authentic Texas Folktales . They have been interwoven with real-life historical happenings and characters of Texas to a point of creating doubt in some instances as to what is true and what may be the product of an overactive imagination. Autographed.

Very well written piece of non-fiction that reads like fiction because it's so filled with danger and adventure. You don't have to love mountain climbing to enjoy this book. It's a great peek into the psyche of climbers and the industry that supports them.

The lovely, watercolor illustrations of plants, flowers, and small animals could be used for decorating. It is written as an illustrated journal, with notes and poetry and pictures on every other page. It would also be nice for a young person, or anyone, interested in nature.

This is a memoir of the author's adventures as a Navy frogman from 1943-1964. Written in 1993, much of the information had been classified before that. It covers action in WW II, Korea, and Algeria. His actions in the early days of involvement in Viet Nam are still classified.
