This was the usual upbeat Debbie Macomber book that was enjoyable reading. The author stated that this was the last in the Cedar Cover series and this book referred to many previous incidents in other books. It was a nice completion of the series and if you have read the others, you need to not miss this final chapter in delightful Cedar Cove.

I really enjoyed this book - as I could identify with the Presidents he served. Sometimes it was a little over-the-top on descriptions of the items served, but on the whole I can truly recommend it.

This is the true story of Loren McIntyre, National Geographic photographer and writer, about his explorations of the Amazon for forty years. He made "first contact" with a tribe of Mayoruna, the elusive "cat people" of the Amazon basin, and his story is one you will never forget. It is a exciting and wonderful tale and reminds us that "Truth can be stranger than fiction."

This "coffee table" book is beautifully illustrated and gets to the real roots of the real cowboy - truly a vanishing breed. This book is one that you will want to savor many times.
